"Sweet Moments" is owned and operated by Avinash Thakur (Avi), a New Zealand Qualified Baker from Manukau Institute of Technology. Avi holds a strong interest in Baking and loves to come out with new mouth watering recipes, rich and moist those are loved by everyone.

No doubt Avi's passion and interest in Baking have awarded him as a 'best academic student' at MIT in recognition of excellence in academic results. While studying, Avi started baking and decorating cakes for family friends for different occasions. Their encouraging feedbacks made him start his own business.

By nature, Avi is an Artist. He employs an imaginative variety of decorating techniques with various media such as ganache, butter cream, sugar paste, chocolate and many more. He is expert in three dimensional modelling and can do almost anything with Sugar paste.

"Sweet Moments" is well supported by his wife, Vibha. She is equally knowledgeable about the products we make and we both would love to hear from you.
